“Meredith made our ceremony feel personalized to us, offered great suggestions when we didn’t know what we wanted to be said, and gave a beautiful secular blessing at the end of our ceremony which was a hit amongst everyone. She is super easy to work with, a wonderful public speaker, and brings supportive, loving energy to your special day. “

“ We had the most perfect Elopement ceremony with Meredith! She made our special day that much more special. We were so fortunate to have her there and the vows she brought for us were absolutely perfect. Thank you so much Meredith!"

"I was so pleased with Pastor Meredith and how she handled our wedding. We met with her over Zoom since she was going to have to travel to be there, and she asked us what we wanted included in the service as far as readings, participation from others, etc. and if there was anything we specifically didn’t want mentioned (in my case, I didn’t want any heteronormative prayers). She worked with us to create a service that worked for us, it was religious but not stuffy like we were and honored both our faith and our playful quirks we wanted to carry through our wedding, like dinosaurs. As a gay man, Meredith was very affirming and helpful in making sure that we had a ceremony that fit who WE were, not just who some religious people think we should be like and I am so grateful for her in the ceremony. Also, she’s great at dancing and won’t just sit at the reception, eat dinner, and leave like some stuffy ministers, especially if you play good music!
I recommend Pastor Meredith for weddings and while I hope I won’t need another, if I do, I’ll call her up again!" --Alex & Chris |

"My wife and I got married October 15, 2020. We had been torn as to how we wanted to get married and by whom. It was important to us that the ceremony mean something real but also didn’t fit into the most traditional of setting. We both have our own versions of faith and we knew that was going to be part of it. After postponing several times due to COVID and feeling that the only realistic option might be a courthouse wedding, we happened upon our friend Meredith through a mutual friend, who Meredith had also married earlier that year.
My wife and I had been previously married before and found that in our relationship we wanted to make sure that the elements that we shared together, our newly blended family and the life we were building together shined through in the vows and ceremony we wanted. We exchanged some initial ideas of setting (our property we planned to build our forever home on), who was going to be there (just our kids) and what the overall feel and purpose was.
From there, Meredith worked on collaborating the elements we wanted, the faith based vows and commitments we wanted to make to each other and our kids and we met in person to go over our thoughts and hers. Meredith made this SO easy! We didn’t want something that wasn’t true to our beliefs or seemed forced for the sake of checking a box. She guided us through the process with care and we couldn’t be more happy. She helped facilitate the perfect joining of my wife and I’s family, future and souls. Meredith even made sure that our kids were involved in the blessing we were given and the goals we wanted to accomplish as a now married couple. Often times, it seems, that blended families forget to include the children from both couples in the duties and responsibilities that everyone has to be a successful marriage. While our kids were only eight and ten, they were able to understand that they too had a say in the future we were all building together.
Meredith was a true professional. She made us feel very comfortable, as we were not particularly close at the time, and she made the moment unforgettable. Thank you Meredith for your kind and generous guidance in our future. We will forever be grateful for you." --Paul & Jess
